What do you do with all those scrapbooking magazines you collect. I now have so many that I have decided to cut out the pages that interest me and put them in a display folder and then toss the rest. I am interested to know what you all do with your mountain. _________________ Karen

But where do you guys store them all. Is it just because I don't like clutter that I can't stand it anymore and they have to go. My DH seems to collect computer mags and I am forever on at him to get rid of them. Computers have changed a lot in the last 15 years!!!! What possible use could these computer mags be anymore _________________ Karen

Sky, there a re a few 'beginners scrapbooking' books and magazines out there, but personally, I think that you'd be best to flick through the magazines at your newsagent, choose one that you like, and then use the layouts as isnspiration for your own work. It is perfectly acceptable to copy layouts (you should credit the original artist though) if that makes it easier for you.
Good luck ! _________________ Cindy

I agree with Cindy. I don't have a regular delivered. I go to the newsagency and flick through them, that is if they don't have plastic covers on them. _________________ Karen

| Instead of ripping pages out of the magazines you could scan them onto your computer and then sell the mags. My friend and I try to get different mags and this is how we share them around. I am new to scrapbooking ( under 1 year ) so I love to keep the original books at the moment. My mum used to store all her quilting books in a filing cabit as she had hundreds and it kept them safe. |

our local library now gets 3 different ones.
I just scan the pages, layouts I especially like and then return them _________________ Deb

I have a huge collection of magazines..........
And I always used to read them with a great attention when I get enough time to do so...........
I want to enlarge my mountain day by day.
